Past Experience:

Robert has more than 20 years experience as a tax and business lawyer, with his practice focused on the areas of individual and business taxation. He advises clients on the tax aspects of a wide range of business transactions. Robert also advises Israel-based high-tech companies on US operations and financings, and advises not for profit and charitable organizations on a variety of issues.

Robert represents clients in audits and other controversies before the Internal Revenue Service, the Massachusetts Department of Revenue and other taxing authorities, as well as in all phases of litigation before the United States Tax Court and the Massachusets Appellate Tax Board.

Robert has served as co-chair of Tax Controversy section of the Boston Bar Association Tax Section and as a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association Taxation Counsel. He is an adjunct professor at both the Boston University School of Law Graduate Tax Program where he teaches partnership taxation and the Radzyner School of Law at the Interdisciplinary Center, Herzlia, Israel. He is a frequent lecturer on tax-related topics.

Prior to joining the firm, he was senior partner at Hutchins, Wheeler & Dittmar. Robert served as senior trial attorney with the Office of the Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service.
